About the AuthorKaren Whitley Bell, RN, CHPN, has practiced as a hospice nurse since 1994, helping families find comfort and quality of life. She participates nationally in efforts to promote access and improve end-of-life care. She volunteers internationally, teaching end-of-life care and supporting microfinance initiatives to alleviate poverty. She lives in the Pacific Northwest, and is happiest when enjoying the company of friends, and sharing long walks with her family on wooded mountain trails and along the rugged Pacific coast. |
